Rugged Elegance Pledges $15,000 to Support MLIFE’s Life-Changing Trip to Africa

Jennifer Carolyn King, president of Rugged Elegance Foundation, announced today that the Rugged Elegance Foundation would sponsor the first three of the fifteen youths chosen for MLIFE’s Life-Changing Trip to Nairobi, Kenya, in June this year. 

MLIFE’s Healing Circle Program plans a fully-funded 10-day trip to Nairobi, Maasai Mara, and Kilifi, Kenya, for underserved Black, brown, and other interested youths aged 13-24. The program aims to enable selected California youths to broaden their horizons, expand their cultural knowledge of Africa and connect with their peers.
